This systems primary task is mass algae production and environmental water nutrient
restoration.
Passive Floating Bio-Containment ponds for Production and water nutrient reduction, Bio-fuel /
Bio-diesel / Food / Stock feed outputs.
This system uses available environmental resources to promotes rapid growth of Algae.
Process
This system has the potential to supply mass tonnage every grow-out cycle 3-4 days. Each Ton
produced represents extraction of excess nutrients, as a solution and efficient use of this problem.
The floating containment pond system is for use on Rivers/Lakes/Sea with the collection method using barges and Slurry pumps to collect the algae mass. Compressed Air injected into Water Bubbler matrix to dislodge Algae as it is Vacuumed up and transferred.
Delivery point can be next to the river or slurry pumped to an inland for: Bio-fuel/Food
processing Plant.
River Stomach Floating Farm system has multiple floating containment Bio-Ponds that are
passive and requires no external energy for production.
It utilises water flow to provide nutrients from the Benthic Anoxic strata near the bottom which
is pumped up a tube with an Air venturi aerator inputting oxygen into the pond distribution matrix underneath the Bio-Filters to provide necessary elements to promote growth. The Inlet Pipe can be adjusted in depth to meet nutrient needs for different modules. Increased bio-filter surface area design better utilises water column for algae growth than current pond surface technology.
This can then be collected by barge and suction tubes can extract Algae from pond every cycle, by timing the collection routes it can be a continuous production cycle.
The Algae full barge returns to the exchange dock where the Algae is slurry pumped to the process point.
Mussels and Oysters
Columns can be fitted beneath the floating pond and be used to produce Mussels and Oysters to aid nutrient utilisation and the value they represent as food (human, animal).
Aquaponics / Hydroponics
Modules can easily be modified to meet Aquaponics / Hydroponics plant growing for food.
Surface Rubbish Collection
Modules can be fitted with out-rigged nets for catchment of floating debris. The Bio-Ponds can be placed in flow lines to maximise catchment along the system. Interchangeable catchment nets will allow efficient extraction of this pollution from the system to be recycled.
